Congress takes action on Sachin Pilot, removed from these two posts

Jaipur. The Congress on Tuesday removed Sachin Pilot, who revolted against the Ashok Gehlot government of the state, as Deputy Chief Minister and State President. Along with this, the party has taken a tough stand and immediately removed two ministers of the government, Visvendra Singh and Ramesh Meena, who went into the pilot camp.

The party has removed two other MLAs from their posts, apart from the ministers who did not attend the Congress Legislature Party meeting amid the current political crisis and went with Pilot. Party's national spokesperson Randeep Surjewala told reporters here that Pilot has been removed from the posts of Deputy Chief Minister and Party State President. Apart from this, Vishvendra Singh has been removed as Minister of Tourism and Ramesh Meena as Minister of Food Supply with immediate effect.

He told that apart from this the party has removed Mukesh Bhakar from the post of President of Rajasthan Province Youth Congress. MLA Ganesh Ghoghara will be the new president in his place. Similarly, Ramesh Pareek has been removed and Hem Singh Shekhawat has been appointed as the new President of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Seva Dal.
