BJP seems divided on the issue of horse-trading

Jaipur. There is a ruckus between the ruling Congress Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the issue of conspiracy to bring down the government in Rajasthan. The BJP seems divided on the issue of horse-trading. Former Assembly Speaker Kailash Meghwal has accused the Gehlot government of toppling with the support of opposition parties.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has attacked Sachin Pilot, who was expelled from the post of Deputy Chief Minister, saying that his over-ambitiousness has forced him to do wrong. Mr. Pilot has now been set up at a resort in Haryana by forming a separate group with 18 of his comrades.
After the notice of Assembly Speaker Dr. CP Joshi for violating the whip for not coming to the meeting of the Legislature party, the matter got into a legal battle when Mr. Pilot challenged it in the High Court.

The court will hear the case on July 20. Till then Dr. Joshi will not be able to take any action on this. Meanwhile, after an audio came out, the Congress accused the BJP of horse-trading and lodged a complaint with the Special Protection Group (SOG). On the basis of this audio, a complaint has also been lodged against MLA Bhanwarlal Sharma with the Anti-Corruption Bureau.

A team of SOG also went to Manesar in Haryana yesterday but no MLA was found there. After the name of a Union Minister came to light in this audio, the BJP has questioned the veracity of the audio and demanded the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate the matter.

The Congress is accusing the BJP of buying and selling legislators on the basis of this video. Here Congress MLAs are working in a five-star hotel. The Congress fears that the BJP may lure MLAs.
